Explore the clinical requirements, skills, and standards for TMT Level 1 and 2 Trained and Certified Clinicians. Learn more about what it means to be a Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 Clinician < Back to All Previous Next What this means for the client or patient For a person seeking care, a TMT Level 1 Clinician offers something rare: safety through competency. A Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) Level 1 Clinician hasn't just watched a video—they have demonstrated a robust understanding of how trauma impacts a person, how a survivor of trauma adapts to their circumstances, how to recognize those impacts, how to help a person understand themselves, and how trauma can lead to a spectrum of dissociative experiences. When you see a therapist with this training, you are working with someone who: Doesn't Pathologize You: They see your symptoms as brilliant survival strategies, not a broken brain. Uses Objective Data: They won't leave you wondering about your diagnosis; they use validated tools to provide clear answers. Specializes in Dissociation: They are trained to see what many generalist therapists miss, ensuring you don't spend years in the wrong type of treatment. Has Been Vetted: They have demonstrated their skills to experts in the field, ensuring they can sit with your heavy history with calm and clinical confidence. Terms clinicians are permitted to use once requirements have been met: “Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 Trained” or “TMT Level 1 Trained” Completed TMT Level 1 Training “Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 Clinician” or “TMT Level 1 Clinician” Completed TMT Level 1 Training Completed 2 hours of TMT Level 1 Group Consultation Completed 1 hour of TMT Level 1 Individual Consultation "Trauma Model Therapy is more than a set of tools; it is a commitment to seeing the human being behind the survival system. Level 1 is the first step in that journey." Understanding TMT Level 1 Training: A Standard of Clinical Excellence When a person attains TMT Level 1 Clinician status, it signifies they have moved beyond general trauma-informed care and into a specialized, attuned, data-driven framework for resolving complex trauma and dissociation. This designation ensures that the provider understands the logic of survival and possesses the objective tools to navigate even the most complex clinical presentations. PART 1 The Knowledge Base: The Theoretical Foundation The journey begins with an intensive, asynchronous curriculum designed to replace clinical myths with empirical data. A clinician who has completed TMT Level 1 Training has learned the following: The 5 Principles of Trauma Model Therapy: The foundational perspective used to explain a person’s survival strategies. Attachment to the Perpetrator Locus of Control Shift The Problem is not THE PROBLEM Addiction is the Oppositive of Desensitization The Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator Triangle The Definition and History of Dissociation: An overview of the history and neurobiology of dissociation, moving beyond surface symptoms to understand structural changes in the self. The Spectrum of Dissociation: A deep dive into the 5 Dissociative Disorders, how to interpret and recognize the definitions associated with the diagnostic criteria, and how to decode the nuances within the diagnostic criteria. Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID): A disruption of identity characterized by two or more distinct personality states. Dissociative Amnesia: The inability to recall important autobiographical information. Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder: Persistent or recurrent experiences of detachment from one's self or surroundings. Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD): Presentations of pathological dissociation that cause significant distress but do not meet full criteria for any specific disorder. Unspecified Dissociative Disorder (UDD): Used when a clinician chooses not to specify the reason that criteria for a specific dissociative disorder are not met. Objective Assessment Mastery: TMT Level 1 attendees are trained in the gold-standard tools of the field for screening and assessing trauma and dissociation, moving from subjective guessing to objective measurement using: Screening Tools The ACE IQ (Adverse Childhood Experiences International Questionnaire) The DES II (Dissociative Experiences Scale) SDQ-20 (Somatoform Dissociation Questionnaire) Assessment Tools The DDIS (Dissociative Disorders Interview Schedule) The MID (Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation) SCID-D (Structured Clinical Interview for Dissociative Disorders) Specialized DID Training: Comprehensive foundational education on Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), its misunderstood prevalence, indicators that should alert a clinician to screen further, secondary features that are unique to DID and validated questions to ask as part of the differential diagnosing process, and a structured vocabulary for accurate diagnosis and patient education. PART 2 Clinical Integration Through Standardized Consultation Knowledge is only as good as its application. To become a TMT Level 1 Clinician, clinicians must transition from the classroom to active consultation, demonstrating their skills in both group and individual settings. Group Consultation: Collaborative Strategy Hours Required: 2 Cost: $100 In these structured sessions, clinicians work in small cohorts (2–4 peers) to: Apply TMT Principles to active, real-world trauma cases. Refine their clinical lens by analyzing how the model changes their view of "treatment-resistant" symptoms. Receive expert input to ensure the highest level of support for their clients. TMT Level 1 Group Consultation question that each TMT Consultee must answer: Which TMT Principle has impacted the work you are doing with clients/patients or changed the way in which you view your cases? Individual Consultation: Demonstrated Mastery Hours Required: 1 Cost: $100 To earn TMT Level 1 Clinician status, a clinician must personally demonstrate proficiency to a TMT consultant. They are required to: Explain the Unexplainable: Translate complex concepts like PTSD, dissociation, addiction, and complex trauma into clear, empowering language for the patient. Tool Proficiency: Explain exactly how and why they utilize specific assessment tools in their practice. Diagnostic Integrity: Demonstrate the proper use of the "DID Questions" to ensure accurate identification and non-pathologizing treatment. TMT Level 1 Individual Consultation questions that each TMT Consultee must answer: Give a brief overview of each TMT Principle. Explain the tools that you utilize for assessing trauma and/or dissociation. Screening vs diagnostic tools Explain how you use the DID questions listed in the handout from the Level 1 Module 4 lesson entitled “DID Secondary Features & The DID Questions.” Indicators vs secondary features How would you explain PTSD to someone? How would you explain complex trauma to someone? How would you explain dissociation to someone? How would you explain addiction to someone? PART 3 The Provider Directory Once a clinician has achieved TMT Level 1 Clinician by successfully navigating the TMT Level 1 training, the TMT role-plays, and the rigorous TMT Consultation process, they are eligible to join the TMT Provider Directory. This directory serves as a trusted resource for patients worldwide to find professionals who have mastered the logic of trauma and the art of recovery. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET Dr. Jessica Endres, PhD, LPC-S, NCC Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Texas License #78014 Accepting Clients Yes Meeting Options Online Only Practices In Texas TMT Designation Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 Clinician Trauma Model Therapy Level 2 Clinician Trauma Model Therapy Consultant in Training Clinical Bio Howdy! I'm Jessica (she/her/hers). I obtained my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 from Sam Houston State University. While in my last semester, I also completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and integrate embodiment, the connection to self and emotions, as well as being more present into therapy. I went on to get training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing soon after graduating. A few years later, I returned to Sam Houston State University to pursue a doctoral degree in Counselor Education, which I earned in 2022. As a part of an independent study course, I also became certified in Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) in 2022. I have previous clinical experience in various settings including an inpatient psychiatric hospital, local mental health authority, rape crisis center, and domestic violence shelter. What I Really Want You to Know I provide virtual individual counseling for adult clients in Texas who have trauma and/or Dissociative Disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). I also see those who are trying to figure out if what happened to them was "bad enough to call trauma." What you call it doesn't matter to me, I will sift through the hurt with you. My practice is dedicated to counseling adults who have experienced neglect and sexual, physical, or emotional abuse in childhood and/or adulthood. Most of my clients are working to manage attachment issues, personality and self-identity challenges, and symptoms of PTSD, Complex PTSD, or DID. I believe that you are deserving of healing, simply because you exist. It is my goal to help you create a life you deem worth living. I am an accepting and affirming counselor who proudly welcomes all clients just as they are to my practice. How I Weave Trauma Model Therapy Into My Practice Much of Trauma Model Therapy that I bring into the therapy space includes the attachment, cognitive, and behavioral theoretical approaches. I am a very relationally grounded counselor, and I believe that this is how I can help you best. I believe that humans are built for healing and repair and that through a therapeutic relationship, together, we heal. I integrate the principles of TMT into my practice from a very validating, supportive, and educational approach. I believe information helps a lot, but that we also need skills and emotional processing to pull everything together. This is why I like that TMT not just encourages me, but requires me, to bring in other modalities! I like to tailor skill building with trauma processing interventions to best help you meet the goals you have. A TMT guidepost is to begin therapy "with the end in mind" and my goal as your counselor is to be what you need, for the time that you need me. Then, when you don't need me anymore, or need me less, that you feel confident to continue your journey and build your life upon all the work that you've done. I can't wait to see you get there and I'm already proud of your efforts to seek out trauma counseling. • HIGHER ED INSTRUCTORS | TMT

Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) is an essential academic framework for HIGHER ED INSTRUCTORS < Back to List of Professions Previous Profession Next Profession For University Professors, who shape the next generation of mental health professionals, Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) is an essential academic and clinical framework. It provides a rigorous, data-driven pedagogy that challenges outdated clinical myths and replaces them with a grand unified theory of human adaptation. By utilizing TMT, professors and instructors can move beyond teaching fragmented disorder categories and instead provide students with a cohesive understanding of the relationship between environment, attachment, and psychopathology. Correcting the Low Prevalence Myth with Data A significant number of university professors still incorrectly teach students that they may "never see someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) in their entire clinical practice." TMT provides the empirical data to debunk this misconception. The TMT Perspective: Peer-reviewed research, including studies validated by Dr. Ross, indicates that the prevalence of DID in the general population is approximately 1–3%, and significantly higher in clinical settings. Dissociative disorders are as common as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, yet they remain drastically under-taught. Clinical Value: Professors utilizing TMT teach students to recognize a hidden epidemic of complex trauma that is often misdiagnosed as "treatment-resistant" depression or borderline personality disorder. Teaching the Biological Paradox of Attachment Professors can use TMT to provide students with a clear, logical explanation for the most confusing clinical behaviors. The Dynamic: In many classrooms, difficulty with boundaries is taught as a personality function issue. TMT reframes this through the Problem of Attachment to the Perpetrator. It explains the biological dilemma of a child needing to attach to the very person they must flee from. The TMT Intervention: By teaching the Locus of Control Shift, professors give students a lightbulb moment. Students learn that a client’s self-blame isn't a cognitive error, but rather a brilliant survival strategy designed to maintain hope in an unfixable environment. Providing a Standardized Diagnostic Pedagogy Psychology and counseling programs often struggle with how to teach the assessment of complex cases. TMT provides a standardized, research-validated battery of open-source tools. The Approach: Instead of teaching students to vibe their way through a diagnosis, professors can teach the use of the ACE International Questionnaire (ACE-IQ) , the Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES II), the Multidimensional Inventory of Dissociation (MID), and the Dissociative Disorders Interview Schedule (DDIS). The Skill: This shifts the classroom from subjective observation to objective measurement, and it instills the importance of assessing regularly to measure the efficacy of interventions. Students graduate knowing how to screen for dissociation systematically, ensuring their future clients don't wait the average 7–12 years for a correct diagnosis. Moving from Symptom Checklists to Systems Theory TMT allows professors to teach the DSM-5 TR from a critical and integrative perspective. The Strategy: Instead of teaching 300+ separate disorders, the TMT-informed professor teaches about the overlap between the separate disorders. Students learn that most comorbidities are actually different branches of the same tree. The Result: This reduces student overwhelm and burnout. They enter the field with a theoretical perspective that makes sense of complex symptom clusters, allowing them to remain calm and effective when faced with challenging clinical presentations. Playing Well with Academic and Research Requirements TMT acts as a versatile theoretical framework that meets the high standards of university accreditation (like CACREP or APA): With Evidence-Based Practice (EBP): TMT is grounded in decades of published research, providing the scientist-practitioner model that universities require. With Diversity and Social Justice: TMT focuses on the environment, making it inherently compatible with teaching about systemic oppression, poverty, and cultural trauma. With Developmental Psychology: TMT provides the clinical application of Bowlby’s Attachment Theory, showing students how childhood attachment injuries manifest in adult psychopathology. Why University Professors Need TMT in Their Curriculum Professors are the gatekeepers of clinical excellence. Utilizing TMT allows a professor or instructor to: Stop the Cycle of Misdiagnosis: Ensure students don't pathologize trauma survivors as "manipulative" or "psychotic" due to a lack of training in dissociation. Modernize the Curriculum: Move beyond the basic overview of trauma and into the modern neurobiological understanding of structural dissociation. Produce Highly Competent Graduates: Give students a competitive edge by training them in a specialized, high-demand modality that resolves complex cases. "Teaching clinical skills without Trauma Model Therapy is like teaching a doctor about symptoms without ever mentioning infection. TMT provides the underlying theory that makes the entire clinical world make sense." — The Academic Ethos of TMT ENROLL IN TRAINING 1 Level 1 Level 1 training is focused on introducing you to the model, the 5 Principles of TMT, helping you learn how to conceptualize TMT, how to diagnose properly, and how to become competent in detecting and working with complex trauma & dissociation. I was particularly impressed by the depth and breadth of the training; I hadn't expected it to cover not only therapeutic considerations but also diagnostic interviews and assessments for complex dissociative disorders (DDs) so thoroughly. I have already advised my team to complete the course soon, as it will be instrumental in their ability to assess dissociation. It is truly remarkable that Colin and AshleyDawn have made this happen. Both are experts in the field (Colin is the most published DD scholar throughout history) - they have created a practical, accessible training resource that should be essential for all mental health service providers. Alongside my medical studies, I have completed specialized training in Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) and medical psychiatry. My clinical approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based—deeply honoring each individual’s unique background, lived experiences, personal strengths, and cultural context. I work with adults, adolescents, young adults, and couples navigating complex life challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, work- or school-related stress, chronic illness, identity exploration, and intergenerational family patterns. What I Really Want You to Know You do not have to have everything figured out to begin your healing journey. Many people arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or questioning whether lasting change is even possible. My role is to offer a steady, safe, and non-judgmental container where you can show up exactly as you are. Healing does not demand perfection; it simply requires felt safety, honest exploration, and the courage to take one small step at a time. I am here to walk alongside you through that entire process, helping you build practical tools, reclaim your resilience, and move forward with clarity and confidence. How I Weave Trauma Model Therapy Into My Practice I weave Trauma Model Therapy into every facet of my practice because symptoms make profound sense when viewed through the lens of what a person has lived through. In our work, we prioritize safety, stabilization, and clear boundaries first. From that grounded foundation, we gently explore how past trauma has fragmented identity, emotional regulation, and relationships, helping you reclaim parts of yourself that were shut down. Because the Trauma Model provides an overarching, stabilizing framework, I integrate it seamlessly with other evidence-based modalities. I pair TMT with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help identify and reframe unhelpful thought cycles, cultivate acceptance, and build concrete daily coping skills. I also pair TMT with mindfulness & solution-focused skills to strengthen present-moment awareness, regulate affect, and foster lasting integration and personal freedom. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO MEET Jennifer Woodrome, MA, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor, Texas License # 83824 Accepting Clients Yes Meeting Options Online & In-Person Practices In Texas TMT Designation Trauma Model Therapy Level 1 Clinician Clinical Bio I am a trauma therapist specializing in complex trauma and dissociative disorders. I have been in practice for six years and am certified in Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level II), and I incorporate DBT skills for regulation and stabilization. My work is grounded in a phase-oriented approach to trauma treatment, with a strong emphasis on early stabilization and trauma resolution for clients with dissociative symptoms. I draw from parts-based models, somatic approaches, and emerging neuroscience, particularly predictive processing, to help clients understand not just what is happening internally, but why their system learned to function this way. I work primarily with adults navigating complex trauma, dissociation, and identity disruption, and I tailor treatment to the individual in a way that prioritizes safety, pacing, and meaningful integration over symptom suppression. What I Really Want You to Know Many people come to therapy having already tried very hard to “get better.” If you’ve felt stuck, overwhelmed, or like nothing quite fits, there is likely a reason for that—and it isn’t a lack of effort. I approach therapy with the assumption that your mind and nervous system are organized around survival. Even the patterns that feel frustrating or self-defeating tend to have a history that makes sense when we slow down enough to understand them. My role is not to override those patterns, but to help you build enough safety and awareness that your system can begin to shift them from the inside. I work in a collaborative, structured way. This isn’t about quick fixes, but it also isn’t aimless. We focus on building stability, increasing your capacity to stay present, and helping different parts of you communicate more effectively, so that change becomes possible in a way that actually lasts. How I Weave Trauma Model Therapy Into My Practice Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) aligns closely with how I understand complex trauma—as a system of learned adaptations that developed in response to overwhelming or inescapable environments. In my work, I use TMT principles to help clients identify the logic of their symptoms, particularly in areas like dissociation, self-sabotage, and behavioral patterns that feel out of control. Rather than viewing these responses as problems to eliminate, we explore how they functioned as solutions at different points in time. This creates a foundation for reducing shame and increasing internal coherence. I integrate TMT with parts work, somatic interventions, and skills-based approaches to support stabilization first, because lasting trauma healing depends on the nervous system having enough safety and capacity to process without becoming overwhelmed. From there, we begin to build a more cohesive sense of self, where different parts of your experience can exist without conflict or fragmentation. The goal is not just insight, but a shift in how your system organizes itself, so that you are no longer living from survival alone, but from a place that includes choice, flexibility, and continuity over time. • MEDICAL SCHOOL STUDENTS | TMT

Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) is a foundational clinical blueprint MEDICAL SCHOOL STUDENTS < Back to List of Professions Previous Profession Next Profession For Medical School Students, who are trained to navigate the complex intersections of human physiology, pathology, and pharmacology, Dr. Colin A. Ross’s Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) provides a foundational metapsychology. It offers a rigorous, data-driven framework that bridges the gap between traditional organ-based medicine and the clinical reality of experience-based illness. By utilizing TMT, medical students can move beyond the limitations of symptom-based checklists and instead develop a unified understanding of how a traumatic environment shapes the long-term health and behavior of the patient. Integrating the Biopsychosocial Model with Clinical Precision While medical students are introduced to the biopsychosocial model early in their education, the application often remains fragmented. TMT provides the grand unified theory that connects these pillars through the lens of human adaptation. The TMT Perspective: TMT conceptualizes psychiatric and psychosomatic symptoms as logical adaptations to an abnormal environment. It posits that the disorder is not a primary biological failure, but a secondary response to a primary trauma system. Medical Value: This allows the student to understand how childhood attachment injuries directly influence adult pathophysiology. Instead of viewing a patient’s comorbidities as a random collection of unrelated diagnoses, the student learns to see them as integrated branches of a single survival system. Differentiating Dissociation from Primary Psychosis A critical challenge for future physicians is the accurate differential diagnosis of hallucinations and intrusive thoughts, particularly in emergency or psychiatric settings. The Strategy: TMT provides objective, research-validated screening tools such as the Dissociative Experiences Scale (DES) and the Dissociative Disorders Interview Schedule (DDIS). The Result: Medical students trained in TMT can distinguish between the voices of a Dissociative Disorder and the hallucinations of schizophrenia. This prevents the frequent medical error of treating trauma survivors with heavy anti-psychotic medications that do not address the underlying dissociative structure, thereby improving patient outcomes and reducing unnecessary side effects. Reframing "Non-Compliance" and Somatization Medical students often encounter challenging patients—those who struggle with treatment adherence or present with medically unexplained physical symptoms (somatization). The Approach: TMT teaches the Problem is Not the Problem principle. It reframes "non-compliance" or self-destructive behaviors (like addiction or self-harm) as survival strategies used to manage unbearable traumatic pain. The Skill: By understanding the Locus of Control Shift, the student recognizes that a patient’s self-blame and "difficult personality" are actually brilliant, albeit outdated, tools for maintaining a sense of agency. This perspective fosters physician empathy and reduces the frustration that often leads to student and resident burnout. Navigating the Rescuer Trap and Professional Boundaries The culture of medical school often reinforces the role of the Physician-as-Hero, which can lead to significant boundary blurring and compassion fatigue. The Dynamic: TMT introduces the Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator (VRP) Triangle. It helps students recognize when a patient is casting them in a Rescuer role (the one who will fix everything) and how quickly that can shift into the Perpetrator role (when the doctor cannot meet impossible expectations). The Utility: This systemic awareness is essential for professional longevity. It empowers the medical student to maintain radical humility and firm boundaries, allowing them to be a curious leader with their patients rather than an overwhelmed authority figure. Enhancing Patient Safety Through Stabilization Medical students are taught to cure or intervene, which can lead to premature or aggressive treatment plans that may overwhelm a fragile trauma survivor. The Strategy: TMT emphasizes Stage 1: Stabilization. It teaches the student that being trauma-informed is a commitment to not re-traumatizing the patient. The Result: Whether in primary care, surgery, or psychiatry, the TMT-informed student knows how to build the emotional brakes first. They understand that a patient must be physiologically and cognitively stable before deep-level processing or invasive interventions can be truly effective and safe. Why Medical School Students Need TMT Utilizing TMT allows a future physician to: Practice Precision Medicine: Accurately identify hidden trauma and dissociation that traditional diagnostics often miss. Reduce Physician Burnout: Use the VRP Triangle framework to manage high-intensity clinical relationships without losing professional neutrality. Improve Diagnostic Logic: See the survival map behind complex, multi-system symptom clusters. Foster Radical Humility: Partner with patients as they restructure their survival maps, creating a more sustainable and effective therapeutic alliance. "To treat the body without understanding how the mind adapted to survive is to treat the symptom without ever addressing the system. TMT provides the medical student with the map to find the source of the fire, not just the location of the smoke." — The Physician Ethos of TMT ENROLL IN TRAINING 1 Level 1 Level 1 training is focused on introducing you to the model, the 5 Principles of TMT, helping you learn how to conceptualize TMT, how to diagnose properly, and how to become competent in detecting and working with complex trauma & dissociation. • TMT is for EMS Professionals | TMT

< Back Previous Next TMT IS FOR EMS Professionals Achieve sustainable longevity. True resilience isn't about running on adrenaline until your nervous system crashes. By analyzing the neurobiological logic of your trauma responses, you can honor your defensive strategies, restore your biological baseline, and successfully transition from raw survival into long-term, thriving health so that you can continue to work in a career that is meaningful to you. The Cost of the Siren: Chronic Exposure and Biological Strain in EMS Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals operate at the critical intersection of healthcare and public safety. Paramedics and EMTs routinely enter unpredictable environments, managing acute medical emergencies, violence, and mass casualty events. When your daily routine involves navigating critical situations back-to-back with minimal time to process between calls, your autonomic nervous system can become chronically dysregulated. In this profession, hypervigilance, emotional exhaustion, or intrusive images are not signs of professional weakness—they are predictable, physiological consequences of sustained exposure to high-stress, high-stakes crises. How Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) Relates to First Responders Trauma Model Therapy delivers a clear, objective framework that matches the tactical reality of emergency medical clinicians: Symptoms as Tactical Survival Adaptations: TMT rejects the pathologizing of your stress responses. The ability to emotionally detach, maintain hyper-alertness, or experience intense post-shift anger are not symptoms of a broken brain; they are functional adaptations developed to help you execute critical interventions under threat. The Problem is Not the Problem (Navigating Cumulative Stress): The high prevalence of alcohol use, sleep aids, or high-risk behaviors in EMS is often targeted on a surface level. TMT recognizes these behaviors not as personal failures, but as desperate attempts to artificially desensitize and down-regulate an endocrine system constantly flooded with adrenaline and cortisol. The Locus of Control Shift & The Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator Triangle: First responders frequently absorb a severe sense of failure when facing poor patient outcomes, systemic healthcare bottlenecks, or societal gaps they cannot fix. TMT helps untangle this burden, resolving the cognitive error of feeling personally responsible for outcomes that are structurally out of your control. System Diplomacy and Present-Moment Grounding: Dissociation on a call or during patient care is a severe operational risk. TMT utilizes immediate, somatic grounding techniques to help EMS personnel safely anchor themselves in their bodies and the present moment, preserving both clinical precision and personal safety. It's more than just a model. It's a mindset. When you choose a Trauma Model Therapy Certified Clinician, you are engaging with a clinician who is not only trained in Trauma Model Therapy, but who goes one step further and commits to utilize other evidence-based approaches for trauma, stay current and relevant on trauma research, and have the humility to know when you need a different form of care. Clinicians have the competency to treat even the most complex trauma cases and understand that multiple models are necessary to give you the best outcomes. You deserve not to be in therapy forever. How many hours and how many dollars have you spent on your mental health healing process? Lasting change and healing isn’t an overnight process, but you also deserve to receive effective, evidence-based treatment. Learn More About How TMT Can Help You>>
