Other than becoming a TMT Rockstar? Well, once you are Level 1 Trained and engage in the Level 1 Consultation requirements, you are eligible to join the Provider Directory where you can showcase your skills and specialties. We spend a lot of time educating the general public about Trauma Model Therapy and how it can benefit them, so they are looking for TMT Clinicians. Our long-term aim is to bring TMT therapists together by geographic location for real, meaningful connection.

We are already making friends and building bridges...all over the world! We are better clinicians when we connect with one another, lean into one another for advice, and get ideas from one another. The virtual TMT Consultation groups are already awesome! Our goal within the next 1-2 years is to have TMT Retreats where you can join other TMT Clinicians, do practicals and earn CEs in person. Those retreats will only be available to people who have engaged in the foundational, virtual training.

Dr. Ross’s theory is packed with so many details. We decided to make the 3 levels on-demand so that people can take the time to really digest all of the material. The training is setup so that each lesson is 15-60 minutes with short quizzes after each lesson and role plays throughout. There is so much to teach you. We start with competency basics, then we get into skills and interventions, and then we end with highly specialized skills for complex trauma and Dissociative Disorders.

Dr. Ross’s original certification process was a correspondence course. We decided to create a virtual, on-demand training because we wanted to standardize the teaching process so we can ensure that every Trauma Model Therapy (TMT) clinician is taught the same things in the same way. At TMT, we think standardized training contributes to clinical consistency, and clinical consistency contributes to long-term legitimacy and improved outcomes.
