IT'S TIME TO HEAL.
FOR REAL.

YOU SURVIVED THE IMPOSSIBLE. NOW IT'S TIME TO THRIVE.

You deserve to not be in therapy forever.

How many hours and how many dollars have you spent on your mental health healing process? Lasting change and healing isn’t an overnight process, but you also deserve to receive effective, evidence-based treatment.

It's more than just a model.
It's a mindset.

When you choose a Trauma Model Therapy Certified Clinician, you are engaging with a clinician who is not only trained in Trauma Model Therapy, but who goes one step further and commits to utilize other evidence-based approaches for trauma, stay current and relevant on trauma research, and have the humility to know when you need a different form of care. Clinicians have the competency to treat even the most complex trauma cases and understand that multiple models are necessary to give you the best outcomes.

WHAT ARE YOU STRUGGLING WITH?

WHAT BEING IN TRAUMA MODEL THERAPY WILL ASK OF YOU

Stay curious

so that you and your clinician can discover the "why" behind your behavior.

Stay empathetic

so you can honor and seek to understand all parts of yourself, even the ones you try to avoid.

Lead with compassion

so that you can ditch shame and make healthier choices for yourself.

Show up for yourself

which will mean saying “no” to staying stuck and saying "no" your preferred form of addiction that allows you to avoid yourself and your problems, be it sex, substances, gambling, working, social media, etc. This means making a commitment to yourself to find effective coping strategies so that you can truly encounter yourself and do the hard work of healing.

Take responsibility

so you can be an active participant in your healing journey. That will involve: healing the Victim part of yourself; creating boundaries for the Rescuer parts of yourself; and owning the Perpetrator part of yourself. Hurt people hurt people, and at some point in our lives, we have hurt someone. It's time for you to stop feeling hurt. It's also time for you to stop causing hurt to others.

Expect to heal

You are not too much. You are not too complicated. You are not too difficult. You are not treatment resistant. You deserve to not only heal, but thrive in every aspect of your life. A TMT Clinician can help you.

WHAT TYPES OF MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS CAN TMT TREAT?

So many people who have experienced trauma get slapped with multiple diagnoses, be it from therapists, medical providers, treatment programs, or hospitals. We call Trauma Model Therapy the Grand Unified Theory of Trauma because it views you as the sum of your parts and addresses all components of you. Every component of you developed for a reason. TMT would say that those reasons make sense, but the reasons might not be helping you anymore. A TMT Clinician helps you look through your mental closet so you can determine what needs to be addressed, what needs to be ditched, and what still serves you. Then, you can start waking up ready to face your days, feeling like your body and your brain are your friend rather than your enemy.

WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR A MINUTE.
WE JUST DECIDED TO TAKE IT TO
THE NEXT LEVEL.

We aren’t chasing a trend; we’ve spent decades perfecting a proven architecture for trauma recovery that moves the shame away from your personhood and back to the events you survived. By decoding the brilliant survival logic your nervous system used to protect you, we help you shift from a state of powerlessness to a life of agency and choice. As your expert guides, we ensure you don’t just learn to cope with your history, but finally find the clarity to move beyond it and thrive.

TMT CLINICIANS TAKE A UNIQUE APPROACH TO THE HEALING PROCESS

WE ARE IN THIS TO SEE SYSTEMIC CHANGE IN TRAUMA TREATMENT.

What is TMT Clinical Curiosity?

In Trauma Model Therapy (TMT), Clinical Curiosity is defined not as an intellectual pursuit of a patient's history, but as an intentional, non-judgmental stance that seeks to discover the hidden logic behind seemingly irrational behaviors. Instead of asking "What is wrong with this person?" Clinical Curiosity asks "How did this symptom help this person survive an impossible environment?" When a TMT Clinician models authentic curiosity toward high-risk or destructive behaviors—such as self-harm, addiction, or severe dissociation—it allows the person to safely drop their defenses and stop fighting themselves. By shifting the internal narrative from self-condemnation to curious exploration, the patient or client can finally understand the survival purpose of their pain, correct the core cognitive errors driving their symptoms, and safely step into a unified recovery.

What are the 5 Principles of Trauma Model Therapy?

  1. Attachment to the Perpetrator

  2. The Locus of Control Shift

  3. The Problem is Not THE Problem

  4. Addiction is the Opposite of Desensitization: All Addiction is a Form of Avoidance

  5. The Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator Triangle

What does Therapeutic Neutrality mean?

In Trauma Model Therapy (TMT), Therapeutic Neutrality is the deliberate clinical practice of staying out of the Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator Triangle, AKA The VRP Triangle. It isn't about being with a cold person or blank-wall clinician. Rather, it is a stable and neutral stance where the clinician empowers you to learn how to trust your own judgment and see yourself as the expert of your own life. Also, the clinician doesn't sides in the the your internal or external conflicts, ensuring that the power and the credit for healing remain firmly in your hands.

What are the TMT Clinician Commitments?

Every TMT Certified Clinician makes a formal pledge to uphold a rigorous set of clinical commitments designed to protect your progress and your power. This means your clinician is dedicated to maintaining a neutral, respectful space where you retain your agency, while always working with your eventual independence in mind. It is our promise to lead with humility, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience as we guide you toward a life where you are finally thriving, not just surviving.
